Where We Are In Place And Time
My Knowledge About Exploration:
At the beginning of this topic I knew only one thing, People explore to find new things. But in this topic I learned that people can be selfish and only be in it for the money. Like Christopher Columbus.
My Wondering About Exploration:
I wondered, if I went to a far away place and I could only bring 5 thing, what would it be. I answered that question. 1) a first aid kit 2) water 3) food 4) clothes 5) any technology.

In this topic of ¨Where We Are in Place and Time,¨ we read a book called, ¨Pedro´s Journal.¨ These are my reflections:
Pedro´s Journal Reflection #1
Perspective of: Native Americans
I think when the native Americans first saw the Europeans they thought they were gods or angels. I think this because Pedro wrote, ¨The natives think that we are angels from God."And when they first saw them (The Europeans they saw) the Native´s reached out there hand, not scared of them.
Pedro´s Journal Reflection #2
Perspective of: Native Americans
I think when the Native Americans thought later on about the Europeans, they thought they were powerful. I think this because in the book it said that in every island they went, fewer and fewer people showed up to greet them. Christopher Columbus also threaten to kill a native. This shows why I think the Natives thought they were powerful.
Pedro´s Journal Refection #3
Perspective of: Christopher Columbus
I think Christopher Columbus thought about the Natives as slaves. I think this because in the book it stated,¨These people will make great slaves.¨ as Christopher Columbus said.
Pedro´s Journal Reflection #4
Perspective of: Pedro
First of all, I think Pedro think that Christopher Columbus should let the natives go, to not capture them. I think this because he said he felt bad for the Americans. Second of all, he thought that Christopher Columbus was in for it for the $$MONEY$$. I think this because when he found a piece of gold in a natives nose, he only wanted gold. Last of all, he thought the exploration were fun, but DANGEROUS. He liked to see all the new things he has never seen before.
