AMERICAN REVOLUTION:
The American revolution let us be free and happy. But it was not always like that. The Stamp Act was a big part of the American Revolution. This was when people had to pay taxes for any sort of paper like or document they had or else they would kill them. Then they Brother of Liberty, which were men that stood up for their rights, started burning all documents, even playing cards. Other causes were were the Quartering Act, the Currency Act, and the Boston Boycott.
The Articles of Confederation was a document that the supposedly "free" American people wrote and decided what the rules of their new born country were. There were some problems. (1) Each state had its own type of money. so if a person from New York moved to Maryland, then they had no money what so ever. Then people started making their own prices for money. This was not far. (2) It was also really hard to trade from states because of the reason that they did not have the same money. (3) The Central Government couldn't protect citizens or solve problems between states because they were to happy. (4) The government could not ask for taxes to pay teachers firefighter, or supplies like a fire extinguisher etc..
The Constitution and Preamble were signed on September 17, 1787. We broke it down to understand. "We the people of the United States.." means the power given to ordinary and special people. "In order to create a more perfect union..." means to create a better community or bond. "Establish Justice..." means to make far laws for everyone. "Establish domestic tranquility..." means to make sure we have peace in our country. "provide for the common defense..." means that the government will protect us from foreign invaders."Promote the general welfare..." means to support our economy and society. "and secure the blessing of liberty to ourselves and our prosperity..." means to keep freedom safe for me and my future family. And "do ordain and establish this constitution for the United States Of America.

REFLECTION ON THE LEARNER PROFILES AND ATTRIBUTES:
How was I Knowledgeable:
I was knowledgeable about our countries government and how it is controlled and "ruled." I knew that our country was democracy and that a law has to go through the 3 branches to become a actual law.
